Asparagus As An Aphrodisiac

Forget chocolate and oysters, and try asparagus as an aphrodisiac instead.

While more of a fact of trivia than truth, back during the seventeenth century of Hippocrates, many foods were considered passion foods.

However, asparagus is a very healthful food. It is high in folic acid, potassium, fiber, vitamins A, B6, C, and thiamin.

It is a plant of the lily family so if there is an allergy to onion or garlic, be careful eating asparagus.
