Carrots For Beauty And Health

People who eat carrots and other carotenoid rich fruits and vegetables are more healthy and attractive than people who don't.

Studies by researchers at St. Andrews and Bristol Universities found that carotenoids produce a yellow tint to the skin and that many people find the skin tone attractive.

The yellow coloring comes from substances called carotenoids. The same carotenoids that help to boost the immune system and protect against cancer, heart disease, macular degeneration and degenerative diseases of the nervous system.

Carrots are also very easy to grow for the home gardener.
