Exercise Reduces Stress

Everyone knows that a good workout after a stress filled day can help reduce the negative effects that the stress created. But studies show that people who exercise regularly do not react to stress in the same way as those who don't exercise.

Researchers at Princeton University found that exercise creates new cells in the brain which are more tolerant of stress meaning less damaging health effects on the body. In the tests conducted with mice it was found that it requires three to six weeks of exercise for the effects to be fully realized.
