Rosemary For Christmas

Many herbs are used for Christmas baking and holiday meals. But rosemary has a special connection with Christmas.

It is said that Mary draped her cloak on a rosemary plant so rosemary is sometimes called the Holy Herb.

Rosemary is sometimes called the incensier because it is used as an inexpensive, but pleasant, incense.

Spraying a room with water and alcohol infused with rosemary essential oil makes a natural disinfectant. Rosemary is also very helpful in keeping a healthy immune system. Both of which are especially good during the holiday season which coincides with the cold and flu season.
