Sleep Helps Weight Loss



Natural hormones produced by the body keep body weight balanced. When those hormones are unbalanced then weight gain is the result.

Leptin and ghrelin control feelings of hunger and fullness. Cortisol, released during physical or emotional stress, regulates appetite. Sleep is necessary for the body to replenish its natural hormone levels.

Carbohydrates are also not metabolized properly when there is not enough sleep.
