While the reason apple cider vinegar helps with weight loss isn't totally understood, scientists agree that it does help people lose undesired weight.

Some scientists theorize that it speeds up metabolism. Some say it actually burns calories in the body. Still others say that it aids in the metabolism by the liver. While the last group of scientists say that because the apple cider vinegar is mixed in water and drank before a meal it simply helps in giving a full feeling so the dieter eats less.
