A Live Christmas Tree

Have an old fashioned Christmas with a live Christmas tree but do it with the environment in mind.

Instead of a cut tree buy a potted one. After the holidays it can be planted and enjoyed for many years to come.

If opting for a cut tree have it shredded after Christmas and use it for mulch in your garden. If you don't garden, give it to a friend who does. They'll greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness.

When decorating the tree be aware that some decorations contain lead. Keep away from pets and small children.

For a great Christmas gift have a tree planted for someone special.
